Rose has a lifetime devoted to horses, and is a practitioner of Natural Horsemanship. Before moving to Alaska in 1993, she competed in horse shows, drill team, rodeos & gaming in Fort Worth; did volunteer work for Tom Lyon's cutting horse ranch in Texas; was a wrangler, trainer and riding instructor at Lazy K-Bar Guest Ranch in Tucson, AZ; then spent 4 years as a owner/operator of Tucson Carriage Company, driving horse-drawn carriages and wagons. Competing in barrel racing and pole-bending with the National Barrel Horse Association in Anchorage, she and her horse Shawnee were champions in 2D barrels and were undefeated in pole bending in 2004 & 2005. For the past 6 years, her focus has been on Rockin' B students. Rose became a certified riding instructor with the Certified Horsemanship Association in both western and english disciplines.
You won't see Rose out at the barn very much anymore, because she is now a licensed massage therapist and working off-site at a local day spa.

Jeff has been training horses through Natural Horsemanship for the past 25 years and apprenticed 2 years with reining and cutting horse trainer Floyd Stockert in Arizona. He was head trainer and team driver for Tucson Carriage Company for 4 years. Jeff is responsible for the building of the great facilities at Rockin' B, and is often found behind the big yellow 580, making sure that our horses have adequate feed stocked in the barn and that the premises stays plowed, groomed and safe for our horses and riders. If you can't find him there, you will find him on the back of his Harley!
Meet the Team
Chelsea Prasek
Barn Manager/Instructor
Chelsea came to Rockin' B in 2014 from Fort Riley, Kansas. She is stationed here with her husband and two daughters at JBER. Chelsea has been an avid lover of horses since the age of 5 and that passion grew into a career. Chelsea has been training horses through Natural Horsemanship for the past 14 years, using Clinton Anderson methods and has years of experience in barrel racing and pole bending. She has been competing in the 907 Barrel Racers circuit since arriving to Anchorage. Chelsea also serves on the Rodeo Alaska Grand Entry team.
She teaches beginner to advanced western riding and beginner to intermediate english riding. Chelsea owns 1 Tennessee Walker gelding (Onyx), 1 AQHA Buckskin mare (Gypsy), and 3 of the school horses located here at Rockin' B; Valor a white Registered Appaloosa, Spartan a bay Kiger Mustang and Denali, a smoky brown quarter horse.

Taylor Zagrocki
Horse Caretaker/ Kinder Instructor
Taylor came to Rockin' B Riding Club in 2015 looking to enjoy the more casual side of the equestrian world.
Her love for horses began at a very early age and when she turned nine, she decided to navigate her way through the equestrian world.
Taylor uses teaching methods by George Morris and Phillip Dutton for both beginner and advanced riders. Following the principles of Olympic riders (and the help of Alana Lord)she is the current ASQHA All-Breed Hunter Hack and Equitation Over Fences Champion. Taylor has also competed and placed in barrel racing, although show jumping is currently her primary focus. You can fin Taylor showing in the USEF and ASQHA shows in the 2017 season.
Taylor teaches primarily younger students, known as kinder students, but is occasionally found instructing beginner to intermediate western and english students. She is also the weekend caretaker for the horses as well as a horse camp assistant.
Caitlyn Fitzpatrick
Horse Caretaker
Caitlin grew up riding horses in Texas, starting at the age of 5. That love blossomed into a passion that has yet to die.

Caitlin came to Rockin B in 2010 and stayed apart of the team until 2015 when life took her elsewhere. However, she's back again!
Caitlin owns two horses; a buckskin mustang named Rebel who was a former camp horse here at Rockin' B, and a Pony of the Americas mare that goes by the name of Rogue.
Caitlin enjoys team penning and riding the many trails across the state of Alaska.
