Horse Camp

Being around horses is exciting, educational, and FUN! At Rockin' B students learn how horses think, act and why they do the things they do....good and bad! They explore how horses communicate with each other, how to communicate with them in their own language, and how to teach them to understand people.  In the process, they learn how to ride, handle, care for and work with them safely.  They also discover the different types of tack and riding disciplines, horse anatomy, gaits, breeds, colors, markings and equine terminology.

Campers follow the Certified Horsemanship Association curriculum (CHA books available). Each camp attended adds new and exciting information, along with new talents and skills to make them a safe horse rider, care taker, handler and friend!  Horses are a lot of work...but they're also lots of fun, too! They build our physical strength, self-confidence and courage.  Nothing is more rewarding than asking a 1000lb animal to do something, and have them respond!  They teach us responsibility and mutual respect, along with trust.

Campers at Rockin' B will also play games, get exercise and do arts and crafts. Week-long campers enjoy a family picnic and camp horse show on Thursday evenings, to showcase new riding skills.

Saturdays 1-3pm & 2-4pm

$50 per lesson

Full Day Week-Long Camp

*Offered during summer & school breaks.

 $110 per day or $475 per week. ($75 savings)

​

Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm (early drop off at 9am, $10 per day)

​

Includes lunch, snack and drinks. Campers ride 1 hour per day.

Half Day Week-Long Camp

$75 per day or $350 per week ($25 savings)
